Investcraft – The Art of Investing

Making money in stocks is easy but Wall Street tricks you into thinking its hard and that you need to pay someone to do it for you. We now know that buy, hold and pray doesn’t work. The ONLY reason to buy a stock is to sell it at a higher price. Get that? Wall Street tries to make it compicated so they can make money off of you! Wall Street is selling you a product and they want you to buy it so they can make money.

Its not a dog or a kid or your BFF, the sole purpose is to sell it and make money off of it. Buy it low or when it goes high and puls back, and sell it to the next guy when its higher. Then move on to the next thing. Its that simple!

Buying something and holding it for 10-20 years rarely will get you anywhere because companies, markets and stocks go in up and down cycles. Just sell them when they are up!

When you start out investing, don’t worry about a stock after you’ve sold it and say, man if I only held on, blah blah. No one can predict that but I know a gain when its sitting in my account, I don’t need to guess anything!

What if the stock you buy goes down instead of up? its a loser, a dog, and give it some room, pick a number 10-15% down from where you bought it, and do guess what? SELL. Simple and direct. If I didn’t succumb to emotion and followed the simple sell rules, my account would be twice as large as today. That’s it, that’s all there is to investing.

It mostly doesnt even matter WHAT you buy, just make sure you sell it!
If you are starting out, avoid: penny stocks, stocks you dont know about or can’t pronounce and just stick to simple things you know, brands you know or companies you see (Exxon, Coke, Sprint, etc) and sell them!
